Aptitudes Unlimited has been around since 1985, making jewelry and quilts on demand. With 3 kids to feed, I was determined to provide them with a comfortable living even though I couldnt work outside the home at the time.  Now all 3 kids are grown and a part of this company. It will be the legacy for my grandchildren.

Company history

Believe it or not, I started out sewing patches on uniforms.  Someone admired the handsewed, no seam patch I had sewed on a uniform as a favor, and the next thing I know, I had orders totaling 25 uniform patches a week. Wives would come to pick up the uniforms their husbands had dropped off and see the custom made earrings hanging under my hearing aid and ask "Where'd you get those earrings?"  They would then buy my jewelry and send others to see my work.  One person noticed that my curtains were actually quilts I had made and hung up and orders started coming in for that.  Over the years, Aptitudes has evolved into desktop publishing, jewelry making...yes I still make jewelry, quilting on demand, knitting on demand and many other crafts.  Our company motto is "The company that changes when you do" because the company has evolved and changed with the needs of our customers, and until that formula of success stops working, we will continue to do so.
